I had a bottle of Kah Blanco in 2014.  I liked it.

A few days ago, I came across this lawsuit ruling article:

http://www.prnewswir...-300102726.html

From what I understand, the founder of the bottle design, Kim Brandi, is now with Iconic Brands.  She founded the Sangre De Vida series, which also has that skull bottle design.

I don't understand the entire fallout from the lawsuit ruling.

1)  Are both Kah Tequila, and Sangre De Vida, being produced and marketed?

2)  Has the production of the process and recipe of Kah tequila, changed with the ruling?  Does that production process stay the same as it was under Kah tequila, as from when I had it in 2014?

Or, did that process go with Kim Brandi and is now a part of Sangre De Vida?

I also found this comparison chart attempting to explain who owns what copyright.  It is from Sangre De Vida's website, though.  And it's from April 2015, 2 months before the June 2015 ruling from the 1st link would take place.

I am thinking of getting the tequila again, but I want to try their anejo this time.  And I only want it if the production process is the same as it was before, whether that is under the Kah series, or the Sangre De Vida series.

Thank you.

Lol, thanks.

Do you know if Kah tequila is still produced?

And is the process the same as it was before Kim Brandi left for Iconic Brands Sangre de Vida?

I just want to have the tequila that was the same caliber as what I had in 2014, whether that is under Kah or Sangre de Vida.

This says Kah continues to be sold.

I don't know if it's true, though.

Ok, I called Worldwide Beverage Imports, whose number was on Kah's website.

The person answering the phone said they are going through a distributor change within the next few weeks, and kah could be available then in my area.

I said thank you, and that I'd call back in 4-8 weeks to see if I could get it located then.

Since it will be unknown when Kah will really be available, and if it will be available in my area, I'll go with Sangre De Vida for now.  Then if Kah becomes available, I can have a taste off between them.

I called Total Wine & More.  I asked them to check the shelves, and they said they have Kah anejo.

I guess my taste test with Kah vs. Sangre De Vida will happen sooner than I thought.

I didn't like Kah's Anejo that much.

Sangre De Vida's Anejo has an oak vanilla taste.  Not sure it's what I want from a tequila, but at least it's interesting.

I've also tried Dobel Diamante.  I like that a lot.
