Please try to be consistent so we all get the same information and ratings. Every tasting entry should have a poll and some notes about the product.

The categories are:
  • Nose
  • Body/Taste
  • Aftertaste/Finish
  • Overall Impression
Rating values are:
  • Excellent
  • Very Good
  • Good
  • Fair
  • Poor
I would also ask that you include as much of the following informationa s possible:
  • Brand name
  • Distillery or parent company and address if known
  • NOM and DOT
  • Type - blanco, reposado, aƱejo or mixto
  • Date of your initial poll/comments
  • With/without gusano
  • Type of closure on the bottle (cork, screw top, plastic pour spout, etc.
  • Description of the bottle or container
Plus you may also want to identify the source where you obtained the product. You can also upload pictures of the bottle.

Feel free to add you own comments to give readers a richer appreciation of your rating.

Members can initiate a poll on any brand. However, if one already exists for that brand, please add your comments, and vote there, rather than start a new poll for the same brand. All members can vote and add comments. You can also use the thread rating at the upper right of the entry box to indicate your overall interest in this brand (not your quality rating for it - which would be in the poll - but rather how 'hot' you believe this brand is in the marketplace).

Once a brand gets 100 responses, I will create a separate HTML page with the results for comparison and printout later.
